In conjunction with NCRA’s Zero Waste Week, GRRN will be offering its popular Introduction to Zero Waste Class in downtown SF on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, 9:30-4:30pm. Taught by Rick Anthony and Portia Sinnott, the class will demonstrate how Zero Waste can be a key part of community and business sustainability plans, contribute to reducing greenhouse gases and global cooling, and help create jobs! In addition to interactive lectures, participants will review sample Zero Waste Community plans and discuss different approaches communities have taken. Completion certificates will be issued for those that complete the class and pass the test.
